Due to the sheer volume of stray, homeless, and breeding companion animals in rural east Texas, area shelters are generally forced to euthanize up to 80% of the pets that come in their doors. And the vast majority of people visiting these shelters are there to surrender another animal into the system; rarely there to adopt. Your tax-deductible donation will present these animals to potential adopters in positive public settings; perfectly adoptable pets which would otherwise remain unseen except by shelter staff or volunteers.
